Is it cheaper to go to the dump or rent a dumpster?

For most residential projects, renting a dumpster is usually cheaper once you factor in your time, truck rental or trailer costs, fuel, and multiple dump runs. A single Little Junkers rental starts at $275 and includes delivery, pickup, and disposal — you load it once and we handle the rest. For anything larger than a single truckload, a dumpster usually wins on cost, time, and convenience.

What size dumpster do I need?

For a garage cleanout, yard project, or single-room clear-out, the 11-yard Little Junker is usually the right fit. For a kitchen or bathroom renovation, flooring removal, or multi-room declutter, most customers choose the 16-yard Mighty Middler — our most popular size. Will the delivery truck damage my driveway?

This is one of the most common concerns we hear — and it’s a fair one. Full-size roll-off trucks used by many dumpster companies can be heavy on residential driveways, tight streets, and paver areas. Little Junkers uses smaller, lighter delivery trucks specifically chosen for residential neighborhoods. We serve Peachtree City, Fayette County, Coweta County, and surrounding South Atlanta communities with driveway-safe dumpster delivery in mind.

What can I put in the dumpster?

We accept most household debris, renovation waste, yard waste, furniture, cardboard, wood, and general cleanout items. Prohibited items include hazardous materials, lithium batteries, propane tanks, gasoline, chemicals, loose liquids, flammable materials, and other regulated waste. Some items, including mattresses, appliances, car batteries, used motor oil, and wet paint, may need special handling. How does pricing work — are there extra charges?

Each rental includes a set tonnage allowance — 1 ton for the 11-yard, 1.5 tons for the 16-yard, and 2 tons for the 21-yard. If your load goes over the included weight, overages are billed based on the posted rate shown before checkout. We show pricing details before you book so you can plan ahead. Delivery is included in our standard service area, and we avoid surprise fuel surcharges or mystery pickup fees.
