Is it cheaper to go to the dump or rent a dumpster?

For most residential projects, renting a dumpster is cheaper once you factor in your time, truck rental or trailer costs, and multiple dump runs. A single Little Junkers rental starts at $275 and includes delivery, pickup, and disposal — you load it once and we handle the rest. A dump run typically costs $40–$80 per load plus the cost of hauling it yourself. For anything larger than a single truckload, a dumpster wins on cost and convenience every time.

What size dumpster do I need?

For a garage cleanout, yard project, or single-room clear-out, the 11-yard Little Junker is usually the right fit. For a kitchen or bathroom renovation, flooring removal, or multi-room declutter, most customers go with the 16-yard Mighty Middler — it's our most popular size for a reason. Will the delivery truck damage my driveway?

This is the most common concern we hear — and it's a fair one. Full-size roll-off trucks used by most companies can weigh enough to crack concrete driveways and damage pavers. Little Junkers uses smaller, lighter delivery trucks specifically chosen for residential neighborhoods. We've delivered to driveways, cul-de-sacs, and tight HOA streets across Fayette, Coweta, Henry, Spalding, and Clayton counties without incident.

What can I put in the dumpster?

We accept most household debris, renovation waste, yard waste, furniture, and construction materials. Prohibited items include hazardous materials, tires, batteries, and certain electronics — the same restrictions you'd find at any landfill. How does pricing work — are there extra charges?

Each rental includes a set tonnage allowance — 1 ton for the 11-yard, 1.5 tons for the 16-yard, and 2 tons for the 21-yard. If your load goes over, overages are billed at $79/ton prepaid or $89/ton at disposal. We show you this before you book so you can plan ahead — or add a prepaid ton at checkout for peace of mind. Outside of tonnage, there are no fuel surcharges or hidden delivery fees for our standard service area.
